After serving in the Infantry for over 20 years, I know firsthand that retiring or separating from the military is a major life transition. It can be a challenging and emotional experience, but it can also be a time to explore new passions and causes. It's certainly a time to reflect on your experiences, accomplishments, and the next steps in your life. For some veterans, retirement can bring a lot of feelings of uncertainty and anxiety about the future. But for others, it brings excitement through exploring new passions and causes.
For me, retiring from the military after 20 years brought the opportunity to explore a new passion of mine; helping fellow veterans release the traumas of war through hypnosis. After experiencing the life altering benefits of hypnosis myself, I knew I had found my new calling for my next chapter. I wanted to help others release their trapped traumatic experiences and move forward in their lives. I've chosen this pathway to continue serving my fellow veterans, and also as a way to continue my own healing journey. The truth is, that for every person I help find peace and healing, it brings me peace and healing.
Central and Southwest Indiana has a large population of combat veterans, and many are struggling with post-traumatic stress (PTS), depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. I knew I could help make a difference by offering hypnosis as a complementary therapy to traditional treatment methods. Hypnosis works through deep relaxation, by accessing the subconscious mind where traumatic memories are stored, and reprogramming the mind to release those cords connecting the traumatic experiences to your subconscious.
Hypnosis is a safe and clinically effective way to treat PTS and other mental health conditions. It's a non-invasive and drug-free option that can complement other forms of treatment, including therapy and medication. Through hypnosis, veterans can learn to better manage their symptoms, reduce anxiety and depression, and improve their overall quality of life.
If you're a veteran, first responder, or a trauma survivor struggling with PTS or other mental health issues, know that you're not alone. There is hope and help available, and hypnosis may be a viable option for you. As a retired infantry veteran and certified hypnotherapist, I understand the unique challenges that veterans face. I'm here to support you on your path to healing and recovery.

After 20+ years in the Infantry my role had changed to the point where I wasn't so much directly in the fight as much as it was my job to facilitate the men that are directly in the fight with what they need to complete the mission. Mentoring and training is mostly what my job consisted of.
Infantrymen live a savage life that provides them with the skill set to do bad things to bad people in order to protect everything that our beautiful flag represents. They train long hours, live in poor conditions, and are subjected to highly stressful events to prove how far they can actually push themselves and still be ready to fight in the end. The food they eat is not something a regular civilian would see as a decent meal. The uniforms that they wear are stained with blood, sweat, and mud. Their bodies are strong, but riddled with scars, bug bites, rashes from plants and lack of proper hygiene. They can walk for very long distances with everything they need to live packed on their back. The bond they share is so strong that they would step in front of a bullet or jump on a grenade for their battle buddy. They stand tall knowing that what they are doing and sacrificing is for the greater good of all Americans. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to influence these men and make a difference in their personal and professional lives that they will remember forever. I took great pride in training and mentoring them as if they were my own children. I am proud to have worn the uniform, and ETS after ETS, I continued to do so until they told me that my services were no longer needed in the fight.
In my next chapter of life, post service, I've teamed up with Tim Shurr to create One Final Mission in order to continue mentoring and training soldiers in my retirement. Except now we are training to turn off the fight or flight, and to release the traumatic experiences and old beliefs that are trapped in our subconscious minds. After my own powerful and life changing personal experience with hypnosis, I knew this was my next calling. I've learned so much about the power of our subconscious minds, and now thanks to Tim, I also understand how to help you tap into that power in your own mind and live a life of true peace and freedom.

I have spent the last 21 years teaching young soldiers how to be leaders, and how to effectively find and fix the enemy. This includes long days/nights of movement through unforgivable terrain, little to no sleep, and a continuous state of hyper vigilance. This allows you to stay alive and makes you strong, while teaching you how strong you truly are, and how far you can push yourself.
But, you are never alone. You are always working as a team. Your weakness is another man strength, and together we can accomplish anything. Defeat any evil! Your adrenaline is high and the LOVE you have for the guy serving next to you EMPOWERS you to do what it takes to keep evil people from hurting the innocent.
Then the dust settles and you are back at home SAFE, but you have this heavy weight that you carry around. This weight of what has been done to protect the men to your left and right. The weight of what has been done to protect the innocent people and the FREEDOMS that we have in this great nation. You have to slow down and try to make peace with yourself. You feel like you are all alone. The battle is now within and you don’t want to be a BURDEN on someone else.
Bethany and I have teamed up with Tim Shurr to create an Army of Healers. He has 30+ years helping people along their journey of healing and upgrading their beliefs. He has helped me quit smoking (1year solid now) and has taught me how powerful we really are.
Our One Final Mission is to teach these men and women that they can enjoy their freedoms. Teaching them how to upgrade their beliefs about themselves. Showing them a better and more fulfilled life.
